The Country Mart, built in 1948, is a local institution in Los Angeles; its preservation reflects J.S. Rosenfield & Co’s commitment to saving historic places, bringing great independent merchants together and creating quality public places. The Mart’s buildings, cobblestone courtyards and neighborhood services (Barber Shop, U.S. Post Office and Shoe Repair) have all been preserved while new boutiques from around the world have been added.
